PC-ABSCOM(tm) products are a combination of Polycarbonate and ABS. This combination allows for the production of custom-made materials. Polymer Compounders has a variety of other types of polymers available. For example, they have created a flame retardant polymer called Notoxicom(r) based on Sofia(r) Polyphosphates.

Notoxicom(r) is an additive flame retardant polymer that is suitable for existing applications of ABS containing brominated flame retardants. Its HDT (High Density Thermal Conductivity) is higher than comparable grades. While it is not suitable for medical implants, it does offer a number of advantages.
