At Yarder Manufacturing, our laser cutting services are designed to bring you the results you need, exactly when you need them, absolutely no questions asked. Laser cutting in and of itself is equal parts and art and a science – one that uses the heat from a laser to melt components in an incredibly precise way, all to conform to even the most rigid requirements of your end application.
One of the things that separates one laser cutting service provider from the next has to do with the quality of the equipment they use – and at Yarder Manufacturing, we have a wide range of state-of-the-art machines that are fully at your disposal.
The Importance of Laser Cutting Equipment: An Overview
One machine that we’re incredibly proud to have added at Yarder Manufacturing is the Trumpf Model L3030. It uses a Trustore automatic load and unload function for “lights out” operation – meaning that we can keep it running 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year if your project demands it. It can work with 1″ mild steel, 1″ stainless steel and 1″ aluminum. It also features a “cool line” option for cutting thick metal in even the finest applications. The “detect line” option is also ideal for lasering new features into already cut parts.
Note that this particular model is capable of 6000 watts and is the newest piece of equipment that we’ve installed at Yarder.
Also available is a 4000-watt model of that Trumpf Model L3030, which contains many of the same features as outlined above. This machine is capable of working with 3/4″ mild steel, 5/8″ stainless steel and even 3/8″ aluminum. It’s still viable for cutting thick metal in the finest of applications that you’re working with, and it too can laser new features into parts that have already been cut in the past.
But at the same time, the most important thing to understand about all of this is that these tools are exactly that – tools in every sense of the term. What they can do obviously matters less than what they can do in the right hands.
That, in essence, is why choosing your laser cutting partner carefully is of the utmost importance. Only by picking a partner that understands your needs – and that understands why they’re so important – will you be able to find someone who will stand by your side all throughout the development process. In the end, you’ll wind up with a team of people who are every bit as invested in your success as you are – which in and of itself is the most important goal of all.
