NEET 2021 Exam Pattern (Latest)
The NEET-UG 2021 syllabus has been specified by the National Medical Commission (NMC). This curriculum will serve as the foundation for the NEET 2021 question paper. In addition, in response to several education boards’ decisions to reduce the NEET syllabus, the NTA has chosen to give an option in Section “B” for each section/subject.
As a result, the pattern will be divided into two pieces. Each section/subject contains two portions –
- Section A consists of 35 questions.
- Section B consists of 15 questions.
Candidates may attempt up to ten of the 15 questions in Section B. As a result, the overall number of questions and time spent are the same.
NEET-UG 2021 – Grading System
- Each question is worth four points.
- For each correct answer, four points are awarded.
- For each incorrect response, one mark is deducted.
- If, after challenging a key, more than one choice is determined to be correct, any/all of the numerous correct alternatives that are noted will receive 4 marks.
- If questions are left unanswered or unattempted, no marks are granted.
- If a question is ignored or dropped, all applicants will receive four points regardless of whether the question was attempted or not.
